Two Dollar 1966-1988
The first Two dollar notes used "Gothic serial numbering, halfway through the Knight/Wheeler issue the numbering changed to "OCR-B" numberingto make it easier for these thicker numbers to be machine read. Another change also occurred with the position of the vertical metallic security thread being moved from near the centre to about 55mm from the left edge to avoide unde wear and tearing caused by the former thread position being near the natural fold area.
